Citywide Candidate
Mayor
#1 Daniel Lurie
#2 Mark Farrell
Daniel Lurie
Because someone who ISN’T an entrenched member of The City Family is needed to fix the mess created by incumbents from the Mayor's Office and BOS and look at the problems in SF objectively, and without worrying about taking care of their cronies. A business person, parent and philanthropist who’s worked tirelessly to get his message out to voters.
Lurie’s catching a lot of grief for spending his own money on his campaign. We see NO problem with that: that’s someone putting their money where their mouth is… AND he didn’t accept the matching taxpayer funds either. (Saving taxpayer dollars already). His non-profit, which his opponents also criticize, shows someone with the money to start anything he wanted who CHOSE to start something to try to fix SF. We’re predicting this is the year of the non-politicians to win across the board… In a city where the City Family protects itself and frustratingly advances the same failed politicians over and over, this is a rare moment in time: an outsider willing to take on the insiders with the funding to mount a real campaign.

Mark Farrell
A local businessperson, parent, and prior Supervisor and Interim Mayor, Farrell has broad support for firing Tumlin of the SFMTA and wanting to fully fund and staff SFPD like Lurie. We’re fans of many of his practical policies and he would be an improvement over what we’ve had before. He gets the No BS #2 because he was an insider for 8 years (though he’s been away from it the past few years).
District Supervisors
District 1
Marjan Philhour
DO NOT RANK CHAN
Marjan Philhour
Marjan is a native Richmond district business owner, parent, and proponent of safety and common sense in politics. This is a no-brainer. Public safety is her top priority along with revitalizing small businesses in the district, so she’s getting our vote. We are recommending you ONLY vote for her, with no second choice option.
District 3
Matt Susk & Moe Jamil
DO NOT RANK SAUTER or LAI
Matthew Susk
We love native San Franciscans with interesting backgrounds taking a leap into the cesspool of our local politics, and for this we love Matt Susk. Successful at business? Cares about housing? Generational ties to his city? Say no more! Matt founded a laundry business and helped thousands of renters become homeowners at the real estate startup Divvy. We love a sharp thinker with a great vision for the city!
Moe Jamil
Someone who knows what they’re doing and has a history of holding City Hall accountable for their spending? Sign us up! Teacher, attorney and community advocate, Moe has a history of fighting for the same things we want in the city, no new taxes, SFMTA mafia reigned in, and a bright light on the shadows of City Hall.
District 5
Autumn Looijen & Scotty Jacobs
DO NOT RANK PRESTON OR MAHMOOD
Autumn Looijen
Autumn is the type of smart problem solver we need more of in CIty Hall. Bring out the balloons and fireworks for Autumn! Even if the only thing she did was lead the Board of Education recall and help with the Chesa Boudin recall, she has our vote! Swaying into the mug slinging knowing that you are on the right side of history is tough, and she’s got tough for days. Grassroots support and a can-do attitude will hopefully take this hardworking candidate across the finish line. Rank her 1 or 2.
Scotty Jacobs
Another S.F. native on the ballot, Scotty’s focus is on homeless/mental health/addiction issues and his policies on changing the benchmark for conservatorship are what we want to hear! He cares about D5 and it shows. Rank him 1 or 2.
HIGHLY PROBLEMATIC IN D5:
Bilal Mahmood
Quite hilarious when you think about it: You have to be so morally off kilter to think it’s ok to tout yourself as a neuroscientist and not expect a single person to find out that it is unequivocally not true, at all. 10/10 for entertainment, 0/10 for ability to be a supervisor. Frankly we should be pulling people off the ballot that blatantly lie about their accomplishments at this point, thin the herd. Hard Pass.

Dean Preston
‘Nuff said… Let’s get the DSA out of the BOS.
District 7
Matt Boschetto & Stephen Martin Pinto (Rank 1 & 2 as you see fit - these are both GREAT candidates)
DO NOT RANK MELGAR
Matt Boschetto & Stephen Martin Pinto
Matt and Stephen are the golden retrievers of this district, vote for them if you enjoy intelligence, analytical natures, loyalty, and thoughtfulness in your leadership. If you prefer the stinking cesspit of politics we’ve had the last decade, by all means vote for others. And by others we mean Melgar, who likes to tell D7 they “are not my people”. Melgar has spent the last few years actively ignoring the vast majority of constituents in her district, and this year was responsible for the ridiculous forcing of an unnecessary and unwanted SFMTA project in West Portal. She is the quintessential “For me, but not for thee” politician. Matt and Stephen are genuinely concerned with the issues their district faces and like any decent and good candidate, they will make good on their promises. Your choice how to rank them, but they should be the ONLY 2 choices on your ballot.
District 9
Trevor Chandler
Trevor Chandler
Trevor is a rare rational person running for office in D9 and we love that. Not out to make a name for himself, but rather work on fixing the problems the city is facing, Trevor’s focus is cleaning up the nitty gritty of permit processing, holding the BOE accountable to students and parents and cleaning corruption from City Hall. We love it!
District 11
Jose Morales
Jose Morales
Jose Morales is a great choice. A small business owner who is sick of corruption in City Hall and wants to be a voice for the people tired of politics as usual. Do we sense a theme here in candidates this year? Drug dealers get jail time? Yes! Conservatorships for the unwell that cannot care for themselves? Yes please! Morales is rational, pragmatic, thoughtful, has a background as an economist (desperately needed in city hall), grew up in D11 - he has deep roots in this district. Another homegrown candidate who is sick at the state of his beloved city, tossing his hat into the ring to fix it. Let’s GO!
